The formation of youth subcultures

A subculture group is formed when the large society style fails to meet the needs of a smaller part of people. For the last time, it is suggested that the young people are less social and more individual. There are many reasons for that. For example, one of them is breaking of the family connections. The divorces and partial families are the part of the popular and numerous discussions. And everybody knows what's wrong and what's good. However, divorces and single parents happen even more often. The complexity of the modern society derives the situations when the parents are to leave the kids in order to work abroad or in another city to support the family. The connection between the parents and children becomes weaker. When the adults disappear in the strange world and leave their children for their own, the kids become more independent and autonomous. They form and establish own norms and ideas that are independent from the adult world. In addition, there is not the notion of the children labor any more. That is why the teenagers get more time for their interests and ideas between the studying and working time. The college time is the richest one for the new ideas in a life. Actually, the young people get out of the family control earlier due to the lowering of the critical age. It makes the process of the personal formation longer and sometimes even permanent. Logically, a person is to cope with the personality formation till twenty one, but the modern society proposes a longer period of growing without responsible attitude towards life. It produces the individuals who are not well integrated and who need longer time to adapt and find their place in a society.
