Positive power of changes

When a child is entering into the age of a teenager, he is expected to change himself in order to adjust to the old rules in combination with own new ideas and desires. When a teenager enters an adult life, he/she is expected to change himself as well. It is worthy to be careful with the changes and be moderate in them, in spite of the fact that the changes are the positive way of the development as a general image of identity and individualization.

A young person changes the place of living, eating habits, friends, social life and opinions in order to adapt to the new style of life in accordance with the college or work rules. At the same time it is very important to stay who he/she is. It is useless to change so many things at once; it can lead to mental disorder and stresses only.

A young person is to find his/her place in a society and define own tempo of adaptation.

It is normal that youth is going though many changes in a life, challenging the new events, but it is does not mean that they go through more intensive or bigger changes than any other person does. The college and first work are the logical stages in individual development.

Some teenagers face the problem when they are required too many things to do. Some of the new challenges are against inner principles and old lifestyle. The way, when a young person contacts the new rules is to be loyal. A parent should prompt that flexibility and stubbornness influence a person in a different way. Keeping the logical line between the old and new lifestyle is more important than being into extremes. An ability to find a good combination between the old and new is one of the conditions for the successful social life.
